Big East Basketball: 2017-18 conference power rankings (version 8)

Big East basketball is looking to send multiple teams to the NCAA Tournament this season. Where does each team stand in our conference ranking?

In our most recent edition of Bracketology, the Big East sent seven teams to the NCAA Tournament. Villanova and Xavier are the clear top teams and that is evident by their high seeds in the projected field. The next four teams are fairly solidly set in the field while Marquette lies right on the cutline. The question for the rest of the season will be whether or not the conference will send six or seven teams to the Big Dance.

As we move forward in conference play, where does each team stand in our Big East Power Rankings? This list takes into account the eye test, overall resumes, difficulty of conference schedule so far, and what the teams have done recently.
