The time has finally come folks! It is Summit League tournament time in Sioux Falls! Who wins it all in this conference preview?

If you could not tell already, I am extremely excited for this weekend. There will no doubt be plenty of drama and intrigue as South Dakota State looks to win back-to-back conference tournaments. However, as compared to last season, the Jackrabbits have far more competition this season. Not only will their bitter rival South Dakota challenge them, but there are other teams who have shown promise down the stretch.

With that being said, South Dakota State is the favorite heading into the tournament and seem perfectly able to breeze to the final. Where they may stumble is in those finals, especially playing in what will be their third game in as many days. Popular opinion will tell you that the Jackrabbits have the advantage though.

Do not be fooled by teams like Denver and Fort Wayne. They both ended their seasons on high notes and could upset either South Dakota or South Dakota State. For those two schools, it would be their first NCAA Tournament appearance in their program’s histories if they can play the spoiler this weekend.

Anyway, enough of this fluff, let’s dive deep into this year’s Summit League tournament.
