The bracket has been released and the matchups are set. Which seven teams are the biggest snubs from the NCAA Tournament’s field of 68?

All day, coaches, players, and fans were waiting anxiously for the 36 at-large seeds to be announced and the bracket to be set. When it was finally released, many fans were relieved while others were cursing the Selection Committee for leaving their team out.

Some of the teams breathing a sigh of relief were Arizona State and Oklahoma, who both followed up very impressive non-conference performances with less than stellar conference runs. ASU will play in one of the First Four games in Dayton, while Trae Young and Oklahoma will get into the Round of 64.

Syracuse, San Diego State, and Davidson will also be huge topics of discussion heading into the NCAA Tournament. Syracuse is universally seen as the luckiest team to make the field, while Davidson and San Diego State “stole” NCAA Tournament bids by winning their conference tournaments.

With all these interesting inclusions, there were bound to be teams that were seen as snubs after the reveal. These teams will most likely play in the NIT, but fans will swear they deserved a bid to the Big Dance.

Some snubs were mid-major teams without many quality wins, while others were major conference teams that just slipped up too many times to really make a case for themselves.

Other snubs, like Louisville, had very few quality wins despite having plenty of opportunities to pick them up. For this reason alone, the Cardinals will not make this list.

In no particular order, let’s take a look at the seven teams that have a case as the biggest snub of the 2018 NCAA Tournament field.
