March Madness has arrived once again, and for those who are unable to travel to see games, here’s a checklist for everything you need to view comfortably at home.

When it comes to March Madness, even the most casual fan gets into the act. People who haven’t watched a minute of college basketball all season will suddenly become local experts, and bracketology braggarts.

But regardless of your college hoops acumen, there are several groups of fans who all view the games in various ways.

The rich – who can afford to jet around the country, taking in as many games as they like while hobnobbing with players and coaches in their courtside seats.

The passionate homer – who will some way or another make it to as many of his favorite team’s games as they can, even if it means climbing gear and oxygen tanks to get to the seats.

The streamer – who is far too busy to actually sit down to watch games at home, or to attend a party. They prefer to catch their madness on the go, watching on phones or tablets from offices, meeting rooms and public transportation. This fan is prone to eardrum piercing outbursts outta nowhere.

The partier – who find invitations to as many watching parties as possible, and bring the same jar of oddly flavored, unpopular salsa to every gathering, ensuring they have free rein to double-dip in the jar.

And then the one most of us fall into…

The couch potato – who sits, with a couple of friends at most, sunken into a sofa with a coffee table full of needed staples to see them through the tournament. This group of fans makes certain to save at least 5-6 sick days specifically for use in March.

It’s with this brave fan in mind that this checklist has been created. An iTunes essentials of March Madness watching accoutrements for the socially challenged hoops fan. Here’s everything you need to get you through a long, cold March.
