Chances of Kansas winning the national title

If the Jayhawks can win both the Big 12 regular season and conference tournaments titles, as well get through the toughest four games to get to the Final Four – then they absolutely can win the national championship.

There will be those who say that the winner between Kansas and Villanova in the national semifinals will almost assuredly become the 2018 champs, but I think that’s a big stretch.

These two teams match up well with one another, playing a similar style of game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see that game get into even the 90s.

How big of a favorite should Kansas be over Michigan in the title game?

If these two teams meet, the Jayhawks would be favored by Vegas to win. But it won’t be by much, as the Big Ten Tournament champs are arguably the hottest team left in the Final Four, and have an elite defense to back them up.

Does Loyola-Chicago have a shot at beating Kansas?

The Cinderella story from the Missouri Valley is still alive and has a shot at winning it all. The Ramblers have a great defense and can score just enough to win if they can slow the game down. The problem will be the three-point shooting, as Loyola-Chicago won’t be able to keep up if Kansas drops some bombs.
