Michigan Basketball: How the Wolverines reached the Final Four
The University of Michigan has reached the Final Four for the first time in five years. But the team didn’t always look like this. Here’s the complete journey for the Wolverines to this point.
After a wild and crazy NCAA Tournament, we’ve reached the Final Four. One of those teams is Michigan, who after beating Florida State, has won the West Regional Championship.
While the Wolverines have always been considered a football school, their basketball achievements have arguably been better over the past couple of decades. Between the days of now-retired head coach Steve Fisher, and current head coach Jon Beilein, the team has made multiple Final Fours, and a national title in 1989.
