What are Michigan’s chances of winning the national title?

There are going to be those who say that the real championship game will be between Villanova and Kansas on the other side of the bracket. Those people must have learned nothing from this (or all the other) tournaments. The Wolverines’ defense alone gives them a shot at winning, and neither the Jayhawks or the Wildcats are unbeatable.

How the Wolverines matchup with Loyola-Chicago

This could very well be a “first to 60” type of game, with both teams ranked among the top scoring defenses in the country. Michigan and Loyola-Chicago are also highly efficient with the ball, so every possession will count in that game. The Ramblers have a decent chance at pulling off another upset, but the Wolverines will and should be favored to start out.

Who would Michigan rather play in the finals?

Either No. 1 seed will be a handful for this team, so the question really should be whose offense can the Wolverines stop easier? Both teams have an All-American point guard and an elite starting lineup.

The one advantage Michigan might have on offense could be with Wagner against Udoka Azubuike of Kansas. The Wolverine center can stretch him out on the perimeter, and try to space the Jayhawks on defense.
