As the 2017-18 NCAA basketball season comes to a close, let’s take a look at the transfers who had the biggest impact after switching teams.

While the discussion of the “one and dones” seems to be the sexier topic, nothing has changed the college basketball landscape more than transfers.

It’s always been around for as long as the sport has been around, but transfers have now taken over the off-season in a way it’s never had before. I mean, the Final Four hasn’t even started yet and already over 300 players from Division I basketball has decided to leave and move on.

I’m not personally against this by the way. What these young men do is their business, and they have every right to do what’s best for them. It’s a hassle for the coaches in trying to keep their incumbent players, but I also don’t hear them complaining when they get a quality player from another team.

The impact of transfers, whether they’re graduate transfers or players who have to sit out a year, have once again been felt all throughout this season. Even all of the Final Four teams have a key player who started out with another team.

Of the 700+ players who were eligible to play this season after playing somewhere, there were some hits and misses. But for the teams who had successes in the transfer market, it sent them to the NCAA Tournament and even beyond.

Here is a look at the top 10 transfers who made an impact this season.
