There will be another NCAA Basketball event this year over Final Four weekend. The 3X3U National Championship rosters are set so let’s preview the teams.

There might be only four teams left in the NCAA Tournament but that does not mean the top seniors are done playing. Starting this season, the 3X3U National Championship will feature a 3-on-3 tournament played by the best seniors from each conference over the weekend of the Final Four. The event is sponsored by Dos Equis and monetary prizes are available for the teams that win the most games at the event.

The teams in the event are composed of three or four players who have exhausted their college eligibility from each conference. The players represent the league that they played in over the past season and will get to play alongside their rivals. 31 of the nation’s 32 conferences are taking part in the event (Pac-12 is the only exclusion).

The tournament will take place over the course of three days (March 30-April 1) in San Antonio, the location of the Final Four. Per the website of the event, here is the breakdown of the rules and prize money:

  • Half-court game up to 21 or highest total after 10 minutes
  • Shots inside the arc are worth one point, shots outside are worth two points
  • 12-second shot clock
  • Each win in pool play = $1000
  • Quarterfinal win = $1000
  • Semifinal win = $1000
  • Grand prize = $50000

Without any more introduction, here is a look at which conferences are in each pool and a breakdown of every player competing in the event.
