9. Texas A&M Aggies 22-13 (9-9)

After an inconsistent season, likely lottery pick Robert Williams will be going pro. The Aggies can withstand losing him, but Tyler Davis and Admon Gilder, both who declared without agents, are too much to replace.

This is still a talented team if those two stay. If they decide to stay in the draft, the Texas A&M will be closer to the bottom.

8. Vanderbilt Commodores 12-20 (6-12)

This is going to be a completely new team for head coach Bryce Drew, losing three of their top four scorers. But the additions are much better than the subtractions, with the No. 7 ranked recruiting class of 2018.

The two star players Simisola Shittu (No. 10) and Darius and Garland (No. 14) are lead guys on the new-look Commodore’s team. And they aren’t done yet, trying to get some other highly ranked friends of there’s to join them.

7. Alabama Crimson Tide 20-16 (8-10)

Collin Sexton is going to the NBA, but everyone else returns. There’s also a new addition in Tevin Mack, who averaged 14.8 ppg at Texas before getting dismissed from the program.

This is a talented team but doesn’t have a go-to player. However, the Crimson Tide does play good defense, which they’ll need against the number of great scorers that the SEC possesses.
