2018 recruiting classes are being locked in around the country. What recruits are joining Big Ten basketball programs and what impact could they have?

2017-18 was a down season for Big Ten basketball. The conference did not send their typical amount of teams to the NCAA Tournament as it was simply not as talented from top-to-bottom as usual. However, the Michigan Wolverines still reached the national championship game to represent the conference. With several top players returning for next year, there is no reason to believe that the Big Ten will not return to their normal status in 2018-19.

Of course, there are many talented players graduating or leaving for the NBA as well. Because of this, it is vital that we take note of the incoming players to each school. The transfer market is a hot topic right now but the future of each program comes down to their high school recruiting classes.

With this being said, let’s break down the 2018 recruiting classes for each team in the Big Ten. This article takes a look at every team and what their recruits might bring at the next level. What role might everyone have and which players could turn out to be sleepers for All-Conference honors down the road?
