The NBA draft is approaching, and we break it all down, from who will be selected first to who will go 30th as it stands now prior to the lottery.

With the first round of the NFL Draft Thursday night, NBA and college basketball fans are looking forward to the NBA draft in June. The lottery has yet to happen, but based on this past season’s results, an order can be estimated.

With this in mind, we put together a mock draft with the projected order based on records. The lottery will very likely change the order, but the order of selections should be roughly the same.

For college basketball fans, the draft will mark the end of an era for these players. Finding out where they will end up is always intriguing, and the debate over who is deserving of first round status is also fun.

These 30 players have many differences. Their skills vary, as some that are strong in the post and some strong on the perimeter. They come from different schools from among the smallest to the largest, from to. They also come in with different styles of play, which can certainly also impact when they are taken in the draft.

When it is all said and done, there will be surprises and snubs. The positioning of players will shift as storylines continue to unfold and the lottery takes place. But as of now, this is our projected order for the NBA draft’s first round.
