8. Cleveland (from Brooklyn): Mikal Bridges, SF

The Cavaliers may not look to be reeling, but they could be very soon. This is where their trade with the Nets which elevated them into top-ten position will come in handy. Miles Bridges is a prospect too promising for the Cavs to pass up. For a team who hasn’t played defense in three years, Bridges can bring back some intelligent and intense defensive play.

Possibly even more valuable, he can shoot the ball from deep. In 400 attempts from behind the arc in college, Bridges shot 40%. He also has some experience in big games with Villanova, which will help a young Cavs team when the post LeBron era begins.

7. Sacramento: Michael Porter Jr., SF/PF

The Missouri Tigers got the short end of the stick this season when it came to Porter, who was injured for the majority of his freshman year. Now, as the 19-year-old takes the next step, there is more uncertainty and curiosity with him than with nearly all others in this class.

His skill set is well-rounded, which is appealing to any team, but the injury risk is a major downside. At seven overall, the Kings should be willing to take this risk. Porter combined with young shooting guard Buddy Hield would make a potent duo that this team needs to become relevant again.
