Sacha Killeya-Jones might be the most coveted recruit out there. Which team will ultimately land this former Kentucky forward?

In the age of players transferring all over college basketball, just about every one of the 351 Division-1 teams has been affected. That includes the Kentucky Wildcats, who sometimes struggle to give all of their four and five-star players enough playing time for their liking.

It’s been happening every other year, with Kyle Wiltjer and Charles Matthews being the prime examples. There was no question of their talents, but it was an issue of finding a role for them from their time in Lexington.

Each of them found tremendous success after leaving. Wiltjer was the leading scorer on Gonzaga’s Elite Eight and Sweet Sixteen appearances, getting All-American mentions. Matthews played a pivotal role in Michigan’s run to the national title game just this past season.

Their success is why so many teams are interested in the Wildcat’s latest departure Sacha Killeya-Jones. The 6’10 forward/center was a five-star prospect out of Lynchburg, Virginia, who originally committed to the University of Virginia before changing his mind and going to Kentucky.

Unfortunately for him, it just hasn’t worked out at Kentucky. In the two years he has been there, Killeya-Jones barely cracked out of double-digit minutes played, averaging just a few points and rebounds a game, getting stuck behind a number of other bigs.

But his 1.6 blocks and near double-digit rebounds per 40 minutes gives many teams hope that he’ll become the next great transfer from Kentucky.

Killeya-Jones now has a list of 10 teams (surprisingly Virginia is excluded) that he could possibly be going to. Per NCAA transfer rules, he’ll have to sit out a season and redshirt. That means that there will be plenty of changes in the frontcourts for each of the 10 programs vying for him.

Due to that fact, I’ll be listing each team and detail the potential frontcourts involved. One of these teams will be Killeya-Jone’s new home.

*I included any recruits that were 6’7 or taller because of coaches liking to go “small” these days.

*Frontcourt players listed are those expected to be part of the 2019-20 rosters without going pro or transferring
