Arizona State Sun Devils

Frontcourt players: JR Romello White, SR Mickey Mitchell, JR Vitalily Shibel and SR Zylan Cheatam

2018 commits: No. 102 Vros Plavslc, No. 35 Taeshon Cherry

This past season’s Arizona State team was led by the team’s perimeter. But the future could very well lie in the post, with White becoming the focal point. Cheatam will have a season under his belt with the Sun Devils after transferring in from San Deigo State.

There are some solid options already for Bobby Hurley without Killeya-Jones, and will all be upperclassmen by the time he’s able to play. Going to be some good competition for minutes, especially if he goes there.

Odds of going to Arizona State: Low, with geography being a factor as well

Clemson Tigers

Frontcourt players: JR Aamir Simms, JR Malik Williams

2018 commits: No. 201 Trey Jemison, No. 242 Hunter Tyson

Donte’ Grantham has already departed, while Elijah Thomas will leave after next season. That means that there is nobody on the current roster that averages more than a few points a night on the frontcourt. Killeya-Jones would all be guaranteed a starting gig, while playing for a coach in Brad Brownell who has previous success with transfers.

The Tigers are located close to home and should be competitive in the ACC. With the roster going through a complete overhaul (the entire starting lineup from this past season will be gone by 2019-20), it could be too much of a risk for him to commit to.

Odds of going to Clemson: Decent, could be a darkhorse landing spot
