Bruce Weber has been a head coach in college basketball for 20 full seasons. Who were the top 10 players to have ever played for him?

One of the more underrated basketball coaches in the sport is Bruce Weber, who in 20 years amassed 438 wins in 673 total games coached.

He started out at Southern Illinois in 1998, and after back-to-back seasons of the Salukis making the NCAA Tournament, he went on to the University of Illinois. Weber spent nine full seasons with the Illini, with 2005 being the peak.

That year they went 37-2, making it all the way to the national title game before losing to North Carolina. Weber was considered one of the top coaches in the country at the time, but things got rocky between him and the program afterward.

The two entities split in 2012, with Kansas State being the next stop. It’s been six years since then, with the Wildcats making the NCAA Tournament four times. This past season was one of Weber’s best coaching jobs, overcoming multiple injuries to carrying them to the Elite Eight.

He’s made the Big Dance 13 times in total, with one Final Four appearance. Weber has coached some great players at all three stops, so I decided to rank the 10 best ones in this piece.

I did it while considering the number of years played for him, their production and value to the team, and any accomplishments they had while in college. Weber was listed as No. 22 from my earlier top-25 active head coaches rankings and still can climb it in future years.

Without further ado, here are Bruce Weber’s top-10 players.
