The May 30th deadline for prospects without an agent to withdraw from the 2018 NBA Draft looms large for these players and teams.

Current rules between basketball’s biggest brands allow young players to test NBA Draft waters without committing to an immediate future of professional basketball.

Each year, record numbers of college basketball players decide to tip their toes in the pool without hiring an agent. This gives them time to meet with teams, develop new skills, and find out the odds of a selection in the upcoming NBA Draft.

This year, the deadline for players to withdraw their names from consideration and return to college is May 30. Best believe many players will wait until the last days and hours to make their decisions, accumulating as much information as possible in the process.

Some of college basketball’s most prominent programs are awaiting major decisions from top players. These decisions will make or break teams and coaches for the next season and beyond.

With less than a week remaining until the deadline, decisions are slowly emerging. North Carolina Tar Heels star Luke Maye is returning to school. So is West Virginia defensive menace Sagaba Konate.
