10. Arkansas Razorbacks

Arkansas is another team that lost a ton of production from last year’s tournament team. Five of their top six scorers are gone, but the Razorbacks do have one of the best NBA Draft prospects in the conference in Daniel Gafford.

Gafford (11.8 ppg, 6.2 rpg, 2.2 bpg) was projected to be a top-20 pick before surprisingly deciding to return to school for his sophomore year, and that decision is the only thing that will keep the Razorbacks relevant in the conference race. He’s a freak athlete who works well in head coach Mike Anderson’s system but needs to become more of a go-to offensive threat.

Arkansas welcomes in eight newcomers in their recruiting class, including five top-200 prospects, and they’re counting on those players to contribute to make up for their personnel losses.

The Razorbacks simply lost too much production for them to compete in the SEC this coming season but, if Gafford improves, they will be a team worth watching.
