40. Juwan Durham PF/C So, Notre Dame

16-17 Stats: 1.6ppg 1.5rpg 8.3mpg at UConn

Durham is a complete unknown and is one of the biggest boom or bust players on this list. He had a largely forgettable freshman year at UConn as he did not seem fully healthy coming off major knees injuries in his high school career. Durham has potential to space the floor and has great size at 6’11’’ which allows him to play both the 4 and the 5. Presumably, Durham comes off the bench behind John Mooney and Elijah Burns, but if he realizes some of his tantalizing upside he will be an impact addition.

39. Jaylen Poser G Jr, St. Bonaventure

16-17 Stats: 10.4ppg 2.6apg 35%fg at UNLV

Poser showed some promise as a scoring combo guard for UNLV, but he was quite inefficient. The Bonnies desperately need scoring after losing Matt Mobley and Jaylen Adams and Coach Schmidt will probably give Poser a similar green light based on the current roster. Hopefully, he does not revert to his inefficient ways, but he will be a high scorer on a bottom-half A-10 squad nonetheless.

38. Jazz Johnson G Jr, Nevada

16-17 Stats: 15.8ppg 42%3pt at Portland

Johnson is an undersized guard with an excellent shooting stroke. He will likely see no more than 10-15 minutes per game as he has stiff competition on a loaded Nevada roster. Corey Henson, Nisre Zouzoua, and Lindsey Drew are all in contention for backcourt playing time and even Caleb Martin will see significant minutes as the off guard. There is a chance that Johnson does not even make the rotation, but he is still talented enough to include.

37. Miles Wilson Wing So, Miami

16-17 Stats: 11.8ppg 3.9rpg 36%3pt at Mount St. Mary’s

Wilson is one of the more overlooked transfers as he did not post huge numbers at his previous school. He has a chance to play a significant role at Miami since Lonnie Walker and Bruce Brown are off to the NBA and JaQuan Newton is out of eligibility. Wilson has good size for a wing at 6’5’’ and can also shoot from the perimeter which makes him a perfect fit next to undersized guards like Chris Lykes and Zach Johnson.
