PG Jordan McCabe – Kaukauna, WI

If you have ever watched a high school basketball mixtape on YouTube, I can bet that you have seen Jordan McCabe’s name pop up your “recommended videos” section on at least one occasion. One of the most electric players in the 2018 recruiting class, McCabe is an extremely fun player to watch take the court. He is an outstanding ball handler with one of the tightest handles in the class. In isolation situations, it is nearly impossible to stay in front of McCabe because of his quickness and elite dribble moves.

In high school, Jordan McCabe didn’t just play basketball. He put on a show. Fans from around Wisconsin flocked to Kaukauna to see the flashy 5-foot-10 guard who had been featured on Bleacher Report and Ellen. And he was well worth the admission fee every single time. As a senior, McCabe was named Mr. Basketball in the Wisconsin while averaging 26.7 points per game and dishing out a fair number of assists. He is ranked at No. 111 in the 2018 recruiting class.

Although slightly undersized for the college level, McCabe makes up for that in craftiness. He is ridiculously quick, shifty, and smart on the basketball court. Although he certainly plays with a high degree of flair, he is not one to make stupid plays. In addition, he understands the tendencies of his teammates. This ability to know where his teammates are going to spot up on the perimeter or when they are going to slash to the basket make him such a dynamic playmaker. He sees the court extremely well and also can be an effective leader right away due to his tremendous confidence.
