PF/C Wendell Carter Jr., Chicago Bulls

Considering how loaded the Duke Blue Devils were last season, it was hard to tell which players actually made the biggest impact. In terms of media attention, clearly Marvin Bagley (more on him later) was the star of the team but Wendell Carter Jr. quite possibly was the best player for the team last year. For the season, he averaged 13.5 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks per game. A true modern big, Carter can protect the rim on one end of the floor, run the length of the court well, and then bury a 3-point jumper (41.3% from deep).

He projects as an awesome two-way player at the NBA level and he is joining a really young core in Chicago. While the presences of players like Zach LaVine and Jabari Parker may limit the touches that Carter gets, he is a player that can succeed at high or low usage rates.

In terms of 2K, Carter will definitely add to the playability of the Bulls. Stretch bigs are always a nice luxury to have in the video game world and Chicago will have two in 2K19 with Carter and Lauri Markkanen. While the rest of the roster might be difficult to figure out and the team may not perform all that well in real life, Carter should be an impact player on the 2K level.

He stretches the floor out to 3-point range and can block shots. Not much more you can for from a 2K big. Regardless, his post scoring may be relatively low compared to other players on the official league roster. This could drag down his overall rating.

Predicted overall rating: 75 overall.
