19. Dayton Flyers

Location: UD Arena (13,435) in Dayton, OH

Dayton is traditionally one of the best programs in the country when it comes to consistently packing their stadium. Despite not playing in one of the “power conferences,” the Flyers seem to always fill out the UD Arena for every game. The arena seats over 13,000 people at capacity, making it a relatively large arena for NCAA basketball. The atmosphere in the UD Arena is definitely one that feels like major conference game for every single opponent that comes to town.

With a top-25 home winning percentage over the last 10 seasons (145-27, .843), Dayton’s success has helped the fanbase grow and keep the arena filled night after night. Even though the builidng opened in 1969, it has consistently been updated and renovated to the point where it is still one of the premier destinations in college sports (and for concerts).

In addition to just being home to Dayton basketball games, this is also the site of the First Four in each NCAA Tournament. While this might not add to Dayton’s gameday experience, it does give an added bonus of historical relevance to the building.
