30. BYU Cougars

Location: Marriott Center (18,987) in Provo, UT

One of the most loyal fanbases in the nation, BYU basketball comes in on this list at No. 30. The Cougars always fill their stadiums for both football and basketball and the program continues to pack the Marriott Center despite struggling to compete at the top of the WCC in recent years. While Gonzaga may be the cream of the crop in the conference, they know that arguably their toughest regular-season game year after year is their road bout with BYU in Provo.

BYU has an incredibly rowdy fanbase that shows out in droves for every single game and cranks up the volume as well. Remember, BYU also does not allow the sale of alcohol at games due to completely owned by the Mormon Church. However, the Marriott Center and the University recently agreed to begin the sale of caffeinated beverages in the arena. And we all know what caffeine can do to the energy level of college students.

Over the last 10 years, BYU ranks 17th in the country in home winning percentage at 141-23 (.860). The Cougars also have three top-25 wins during this stretch. While “Jimmermania” may be over in Provo, the fanbase is still hooting and hollering with each season that passes.
