Nov. 17 vs. Presbyterian

Last Year: 11-21 (4-14 Big South)
NCAA Tournament: No
2018-19 Projection: 317th

Bring on the Blue Hose! The Golden Eagles are 3-0 against Presbyterian all-time, and should sail towards a fourth win this November.

Reggie Dillard and Davon Bell – last season’s starting backcourt – have departed, taking their combined 28.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, and 7 assists per game with them. In their stead will be junior guard JC Younger, who nailed 39 percent of his threes last season, but is not much of a creator and struggled to score from other areas on the floor.

Francois Lewis should be back for Presbyterian after he was deemed ineligible for the second-half of the season. The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 18.2 points in his final five games of the season, and totaled 25 points in road games at Tennessee and Virginia Tech. He isn’t much of a rebounder (only 4.8 boards per game), but he can step outside the arc and knock down the open three (35 percent on 136 career attempts).

This should be a good opportunity for Wojciechowski to test in-game strategy, try out some different rotations, and get his young players more game action. Ideally, all 12 scholarship players will see the floor before Marquette hits the big stage at the NIT Tip-Off.
