The Indiana basketball team has added a five-star player in Romeo Langford and this season looks like it could be magical. Here are his goals for the upcoming season.

One of the biggest impact freshmen this year will be Romeo Langford. Langford has all the accolades you want for an impact freshman. He was a McDonald’s All American, five-star prospect and was the fifth nationally ranked player in the class of 2018.

Also, Langford was named Mr. Basketball in the state of Indiana. Now he will stay in state and play for the Hoosiers. It will be pure excitement for the fans at Assembly Hall.

Some past Mr. Basketball players for the state of Indiana that played for the Hoosiers are Cody Zeller, Jordan Hulls, and Eric Gordan.

The state of Indiana has pumped out great talents that played in the collegiate ranks from Larry Bird who played at Indiana State University and Victor Oladipo who played for the Hoosiers from 2010-2013.

Indiana basketball did not make the NCAA tournament last year and they finished sixth in the standings in the Big Ten. They were not able to go over .500 in the 18 games that they played in the Big Ten.

Langford will wear number 0 and have a chance to make a big impact for the Hoosiers basketball team in the coming season after two abysmal seasons.

Indiana basketball has the chance to be one of the best teams in the nation after failing at making the NCAA tournament or doing damage in the Big Ten the past couple of seasons.
