NCAA Basketball has plenty of talented players. Today, we’re looking at two guards: Michigan State’s Cassius Winston and Purdue’s Carsen Edwards.

Hiding beneath the cloak of NFL training camp, college football preseason polls, and the MLB stretch run is a looming college basketball season that is poised to grab headlines. Duke has at least three one-and-done lottery picks, Kansas lost its three leading scorers from last year’s Final Four roster and somehow might be better in 2018-19, and the Big East is still trying to wrest control away from Villanova, the annual conference bully.

Looking past the top teams and storylines though, there are countless fascinating players scattered all over the country. Over the coming days – in a series affectionately called “who ya got?” – we’ll analyze and compare the players who will have the biggest impact on the 2018-19 campaign. So far, we have compared Player of the Year candidates Luke Maye and Ethan Happ, as well as under-the-radar stars Dean Wade and Sam Hauser.

Today, let’s look at two of the Big Ten’s top returning guards: Michigan State’s Cassius Winston and Purdue’s Carsen Edwards. Here are the numbers to know.
