3. Help UConn win 16-18 games

Since Adams is returning as a senior his goals are not individual based they are team based. If the team is going to have any success in the postseason they will have to prove they are a good team in the regular season.

They will have to win 16-18 games to have a chance at the NCAA tournament before the AAC tournament. It will be tough with teams like UCF that has All-Conference guard B.J. Taylor and Tacko Fall but Adams is probably the best player in the conference.

Memphis is an upstart team in the conference with new head coach Penny Hardway. Houston and Cincinnati, the two best teams last year in the conference, are teams also in contention.

The Huskies will have games against the Arizona Wildcats, Florida State University and Villanova University that will challenge them and add credibility to those 16-18 wins. Conference games will be tough as they always are but with Adams, anything can happen.

Adams is third all-time in the AAC in assists with 423 and he is ninth all-time in points with 1,267. If anybody can command the offense by finding other teammates and scoring it is Adams.

Adams will also have help. Christian Vital and Altierique Gilbert, who is coming off a season where he injured his shoulder will be back for the Huskies. Both players were the next top scorers who are returning.
