NCAA basketball has seen some awesome years from several programs in recent years. Here are some of the most successful programs of the 21st century.

Success in college basketball is determined by a number of factors. While regular season success is obviously incredibly important and competing for conference titles matters, the most commonly used determinate for success in the sport is play in the NCAA Tournament. Because of this, several programs have emerged as the best of the best in terms of NCAA basketball programs.

In this article, I will break down each of my top-25 programs in terms of accomplishments during the century. Here is a list of those teams that just narrowly missed out on making the list (not every considered team is included here): Illinois, Indiana, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Wichita State, VCU, Georgetown, Purdue, and Oklahoma State.
