UNC basketball projects as one of the preseason national title favorites this season. Yet, there are still a few questions that need answering.

UNC basketball is one of the top programs in the country seemingly every single year. As we look ahead to the 2018-19 campaign, the expectation is that the Tar Heels will once again finish near the top of the AP poll while competing for both the ACC and NCAA Tournament championships. Even though head coach Roy Williams and Co. had to wave goodbye to some incredibly talented players this offseason, their incoming group of stars should help offset these losses.

At the forefront of these newcomers is Nassir Little, one of the top players in the entire 2018 recruiting class. An elite two-way wing with the potential to be an All-ACC level player in his likely only collegiate season, Little can be a serious threat. When you take into account the additions of Little and two other top-100 recruits to a returning roster headlined by NPOY candidate Luke Maye, it is hard to imagine many teams in the country better on paper.

Regardless of how hopeful the fanbase may be at the moment, though, it would be a mistake to say that the Tar Heels are without flaws. Of course, the roster is extremely talented but what separates UNC from the other potential top-10 teams heading into this season? At this point in time, every preseason title contender has some questions to answer regarding their upcoming campaigns.

In order to keep these title hopes alive during the season, each program will need to prioritize answering their major questions. For UNC basketball, here are few of those key Q’s.
