What to expect of the newest commit?

Igiehon is originally from Ireland and attended prep school Lawrence Woodmere academy in Woodmere, New York. The big man can best be described by one word. That word is powerful, Igiehon is nicknamed the Irish Hulk and when watching him play the game of basketball fans will see that the nickname fits. Busting Brackets writer Drew Dinnhaupt described the big man as “having the build of a super hero”. Hard to believe that Igiehon is only 18 years old.

The powerful big man is going to be load for teams to guard. He is an athletic and rangy, can shoot from anywhere on the floor, and with his size is a load in the paint. On defense the irish big man is going to be an elite shot blocker and rebounder. Coach Mack is going to love the mismatch Igiehon creates. Since the big man is not just limited to the paint and can spread the floor, it is hard to fathom that the big man is rarely going to leave the floor.

Igiehon chose Louisville over St. Johns, Oregon and Kentucky. The fact that Louisville is beating schools with the recruiting prowess of Kentucky and Oregon this early in the Chris Mack regime is a huge win. When asked why he chose the Cardinals, the big man offered “ Coach Mack turned a mediocre program in Xavier to a tournament team year after year, with the backing of a huge school like Louisville imagine what he can do”.

The big man also offered that he knew Louisville was the school for him instantly after his official visit. Coach Mack is showing everyone that he is one of the best coaches in the country and with the backing of Louisville and his recruiting prowess, they will be back on top in no time.
