Season Outlook

I’m very high on the Tigers and see very few holes in their roster. Jared Harper, Bryce Brown, and Daniel Purifoy create one of the most talented trios in the country that has plenty of contributing pieces off the bench. Auburn’s experience and veteran leadership off the bench combine for two of the most intriguing aspects of the group.

Auburn would be competing for a regular season conference title in most other conferences in the country, but that goal seems unrealistic in a loaded SEC. In fact, in the best case scenario, Auburn finishes at No. 3 in the conference behind Kentucky and Tennessee, two teams who are simply too talented for the Tigers to compete with.

Auburn will likely earn a five-seed or higher in the NCAA Tournament and is surely a group that can make a deep run given their talent and experience. The program looks for its first Final Four appearance in its 113-year history in the 2018-19 season.
