2. Neutralize Fletcher Magee

While this is not the most important key to this game. This is the key that could lead to an easy victory for North Carolina or a game in which they are going to have to sweat it out. Fletcher Magee is arguably one of the best shooters in all of college basketball. He also just so happens to be one of the better mid major players in the country as well. Magee will have a huge part in determining who wins the Southern Conference player of the year. If he starts hot, he may win in a landslide.

In the game in Chapel Hill a season ago, Wofford was able to win that game for several reasons. Other than obvious of North Carolina did not play very well, was the fact that Magee scored 27 points. Within those 27 points the guard hit a huge three late in the game. The late three came with Wofford winning by one, and that basket by the guard sealed the victory for Wofford.

The Terrier guard is going to score some. North Carolina needs to have a game plan in place to make life for the shooter tough. If he can move freely and get open, he is going to make you pay. Anytime a team has a star like Magee the game plan should be to not let him beat you. Running him off the three-point line, not fouling, and contesting his shots should be enough to take the guard out his rhythm. He is a good enough player where he is still going to find creative ways to score. It is about minimizing his damage on the court.
