The 2k Classic welcomes Syracuse, UConn, Iowa, and Oregon to the field this year in what expects to be a great two days of basketball. Who is the favorite and which teams have the most to lose?

The 2k Classic which is in its 23rd year will feature 13th ranked Oregon and 15th ranked Syracuse. They are joined by the Iowa Hawkeyes and UConn Huskies in what should be a great two days of basketball.

While the tournament has been going on since 1995, it developed its current format in 2004. The four teams are picked to play in the championship rounds at Madison Square Garden in New York, but before that, they play sub-regionals at their home court. This year each team went 2-0 in their sub-regionals, except Oregon who will play the second game after their trip to New York.

Syracuse is very familiar with the 2k Classic as they have played a record 17 games and have also won the most in going 14-3 in those games. UConn has played well in this tournament, playing 10 games with an 8-2 record.

Iowa has played in the classic two times before this going 3-3 and Oregon is playing here for the first time.

Last year Providence came in and beat Washington by seven and ran Saint Louis out of the gym to take the championship. The Friars used the tournament to propel them to a good regular season and an NCAA tournament berth.

Which teams will come out and top and who has the most to lose or gain this weekend. We take a look and make our tournament predictions.
