This past week NCAA Basketball gave us two great tournaments in the Maui Invitational and the Battle 4 Atlantis and other great basketball. Who came out the biggest winner and who was the biggest loser?

This past week, we as fans were treated to a bunch of tournaments and a lot of good basketball. It all started with the Maui Invitational that did not disappoint. In a loaded field, we got the final most were expecting in Duke and Gonzaga. The Bulldogs put any talk of an undefeated season for the Blue Devils to bed with a win in the championship game.

The Battle 4 Atlantis tournament showed once again that Virginia can play great defense as they completely shut down Wisconsin in the championship. Michigan State went out to Las Vegas and took down both UCLA and Texas. North Carolina was upset by those Longhorns and the Bruins did not look good.

Lipscomb scored a huge upset against a ranked TCU team and Kansas just kept motoring along as they came back to beat a very talented Tennessee team in the preseason NIT.

This week the main attraction is the Big Ten/ACC challenge headlined by North Carolina visiting Michigan on Wednesday. That should be fun to watch and could decide the best conference in the country.

But before we get to that slate a games we take a look back at last weeks big winners and losers for this week? Let us take a look.
