The early NCAA Basketball season has showcased a ton of mid-major talent. What would a November All-American team look like from the smaller schools?

NCAA Basketball is chalk full of talent in every corner you try to frantically search.  Gone are the days where only the power conferences provide talent.  Today we’re going to take a look at who earned their spot as a Mid-Major All-American for the month of November as well as who the Mid-Major Player of The Month was.  But before we go any further, let’s do some quick housekeeping.

Gonzaga & Nevada were not viewed as Mid-Major programs in this article.  While they are in Mid-Major conferences, it’s difficult to consider them to be on the same par as teams we will see mentioned going forward.

Once I began digging into my research, I realized how difficult this was going to be.  Before we jump into the list, allow me to share a few honorable mentions:

Honorable Mention and Names of Note:

D’Marcus Simonds (Georgia State), Jon Elmore (Marshall), Milik Yarbrough (Illinois State), Jalen McDaniels (San Diego State), Yoeli Childs (BYU), Nick Mayo (Eastern Kentucky), Grant Riller (College of Charleston), Justin Wright-Foreman (Hofstra), Justin James (Wyoming), Sam Merrill (Utah State), Anthony Lamb (Vermont), Devontae Cacok (UNC-Wilmington), RJ Cole (Howard), Fletcher McGee (Wofford), Tookie Brown (Georgia Southern), Jeff Dowtin (Rhode Island), Kellan Grady (Davidson), Jordan Davis (Northern Colorado), Jacob Grandison (Holy Cross), Tyler Hall (Montana State), Antoine Davis (Detroit) Jerrick Harding (Weber State), Morgan Means (Seattle), Grayson Murphy (Belmont)
