Slow down Vic Law

Last game the Wolverines keyed in on Carsen Edwards and while he got his points, they forced him to do it on a lot of shots and really made him work for everything he got.

On Tuesday they need to do the same thing to Vic Law. Law is leading the Wildcats in scoring at 17.6 ppg. The senior is without a doubt the guy who runs their offense. They do have three other guys averaging in double figures, but Law is the one they look to when they need a bucket.

Law is coming off a 16 point effort in their loss to Indiana and also scored 14 against Georgia Tech in the Wildcats win. He is shooting nearly 45% from outside and 46.5% from inside the arc. He can score from all over the court just like Edwards for Purdue. He will be a tough matchup but the Wolverines have been up to every challenge presented to them this year.

Expect Zavier Simpson to again be the guy assigned to stop him. Simpson has been one of the best defenders in the country and if he can continue his great play he should be able to slow down Law enough for the Wildcats to struggle on the offensive side of the ball.
