Arizona State (7-0)

I feel as though I’ve seen this movie before.  In fact, I saw it last year when Bobby Hurley’s Sun Devils squad jumped out of the gates at 12-0 and seemed poised to make noise on the national scene before falter and limping to the finish line at 20-10.

This year however, the Sun Devils have the ultra-athletic Canadian import, Luguentz Dort.  The do-it-all Freshman is averaging 21.7 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 2.6 APG and 2.1 SPG and is proving to be an absolute steal for ASU.

With a pair of impressive neutral court victories against Mississippi State on November 19th and followed by a win over Utah State just 48 hours later, one could argue their best wins are more impressive overall than Furman and St. John’s.

But the big question is…when will we see that first loss pop up for the Sun Devils?

That answer might be the easiest one to predict on this list, as the month of December looks to be a ruthless stretch with games against Kansas, Vanderbilt and Georgia…but it all kicks off with neutral court match-up with the power house that is Nevada.

Even with four players averaging double figures, one being the aforementioned Dort, it’s difficult to forecast a scenario where Arizona State pulls off the upset win over the Wolf Pack.

First Loss: vs. Nevada, December 7th.
