Zion Williamson and R.J. Barrett can take it to another level.
No one thought this was possible, but Williamson and R.J. Barrett took their games to another level after both players notched double-doubles.
This was Williamson’s third double-double of his young freshman season. He finished the game with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 1 assist in twenty-eight minutes. Williamson was the only Blue Devil who looked intense the entire game. He was often seen trying to get others on the team pumped up.
R.J. Barrett has taken his game to a whole other level after the Gonzaga game. Barrett has turned himself into an all-around player, who is extremely efficient. Wednesday night was no different as Barrett reeled in first collegiate double-double.
Barrett finished the game with 27 points, 15 rebounds, and 4 assists in thirty-six minutes. The stat line speaks for itself, but on top of that, Barrett shot an efficient ten of fourteen from the field. These kind of numbers prove why Barrett is considered a top three pick in upcoming NBA draft.
The other ACC teams should be scared watching Barrett develop before their eyes.
Look for Barrett to continue this efficient dominance the rest of the season.
The Blue Devil’s are becoming a more potent team every game. This team sets themselves apart from past one-and-done teams by their commitment on the defensive end of the floor. They provide great on-ball defense and are able to shoot the passing lanes.
The ACC should be extremely terrified looking at the Blue Devil’s on their schedule. The Blue Devil’s next game is versus Yale on Saturday, December 8. This game can be watched on ESPN at 5:30 PM ET.
