Which prospects are NBA teams eyeing one month into the college basketball season? Find out in our latest mock draft, headlined by a debate for No. 1.

R.J. Barrett entered the college basketball season as the consensus top pick in the 2019 draft but, after some struggles and the dominance of Duke teammate Zion Williamson, many teams now reportedly prefer Zion over Barrett. He has been more efficient, more physically dominant, and has once-in-a-generation-level athleticism.

One thing is undeniable – both players are great and both have clearly separated themselves as the top two prospects in the country.

We knew that those two stars were going to be top picks coming into the season but several other players have caught the eyes of scouts and are rising up draft boards.

To name a few, Virginia‘s De’Andre Hunter has shown an expanded offensive game that has made him a legitimate two-way star, while Murray State point guard Ja Morant is averaging close to a triple-double and USC‘s Kevin Porter Jr. is drawing attention with his play.

This draft class is not as strong as last year’s class or the potentially historically great 2017 class, but it’s proving to be better than a lot of scouts expected. Because of that, there’s the potential for some steals late in the first round – or for those prospects to move up as the season progresses.

Now that we’re one month into the college basketball season, here is our second mock 2019 NBA Draft with the order based on NBA standings as of Dec. 5.
