No. 21-25

21) Boston Celtics (via Memphis Grizzlies) – Jalen Smith, PF, Maryland
Smith needs to get stronger but is an athletic stretch four with a reliable jumper. Boston could afford to take that skill set and give him time to refine his game in the G-League while he gets stronger.

22) Los Angeles Lakers – Bruno Fernando, C, Maryland
Unlike his teammate, Fernando already has an NBA-level body and is a quality athlete. He’s a bit of a project but could contribute immediately as a rebounder, shot-blocker, and lob-catcher. The Lakers are already having success with those kinds of players in Tyson Chandler and JaVale McGee, so Fernando could be next in line.

23) Detroit Pistons – Luguentz Dort, SG, Arizona State
Dort is a tough two-way player who can really play anywhere on the perimeter. He has been a revelation for Arizona State and would greatly help a Pistons team that needs both depth in the backcourt and more explosiveness off the bench.

24) Golden State Warriors – Naz Reid, PF, LSU
The Warriors are getting ready to experiment with a big man who can dribble, shoot, rebound, and post up in DeMarcus Cousins. Reid (who is essentially a 6-10, 250-pound guard) can do all of those things as well, though obviously at a much lower level. Still, if the Warriors like they skill set and are used to having that in their offense, they’d jump at the chance to take Reid.

25) Philadelphia 76ers – P.J. Washington, PF, Kentucky
Washington should be dominant but consistency and toughness is a problem. But, when he’s on, the 6-7 forward can do it all on both ends of the court. His role at the NBA level will be as a defensive small-ball four.
