With non-conference play almost complete, let’s take a look at some of the biggest Bracketology winners of the past week in NCAA basketball.

The 2018-19 NCAA basketball season is now an entire month in and bracketology resumes are starting to take shape a little bit. Perhaps most notably, the NET ratings are starting to be released and predictive metrics (BPI, Sagarin, KenPom, etc.) are starting to find similar results with each team. And while there are bound to be plenty of shifts in the coming months, programs are already starting to build their cases for at-large berths to the NCAA Tournament.

As per usual, my bracketology winners piece is back to analyze five of the teams that improved their Big Dance resumes most during this past week. There were, of course, plenty of teams that landed a key win or two but these were five of the biggest winners, in my opinion. It is also important to mention that these winners do not necessarily mark the best individual wins. Two potentially strong wins in the same week could easily outweigh one huge victory.

So, without any further ado, let’s dive into analyzing five of the top bracketology winners during this past week. These teams have started to really separate themselves from their preseason expectations at this point and build on this week to put together an elite resume. As of now, each of these five teams would make the NCAA Tournament but continued success could go a long way in terms of receiving a bid and landing a high seed.
