2. Seton Hall Pirates

Seton Hall entered this week at just 4-3 and with an uphill climb to an NCAA Tournament bid. Yet, head coach Kevin Willard’s team seemingly righted the ship in their two matchups this week. They also landed their first high-quality win of the year. After taking care of business against New Hampshire early in the week, the Pirates reprised that performance with a monster neutral-site victory over Kentucky in arguably the most exciting game of the weekend.

As per usual, Myles Powell led the way for Seton Hall in the upset with 28 points on 6-for-11 shooting from three. He has been absolutely superb so far this season and he got to showcase his skills at Madison Square Garden in the win. Additionally, though, he is starting to get some help offensively and that could take them to the next level this season.

Seton Hall now has one resume-defining win and they will have plenty of opportunities to grow their resume in the coming months. They still have the entire Big East schedule as well as a road matchup with Maryland still left on the schedule.
