After a relatively slow week of NCAA Basketball action, Saturday’s slate provided plenty to talk about. Here are the biggest takeaways from the past week.

Isn’t college basketball the best? All of the reasons we love the sport have been on full display over the past few days.

Matchups between top teams? Check.
Rivalry games? Yup.
Upsets? Oh yeah.
The kind of atmospheres and passion the NBA can’t match? You know it.
Dramatic finishes? Of course!

Seton Hall’s upset win over Kentucky was clearly the game of the week and, with it being at Madison Square Garden, felt like an NCAA Tournament game. The two sides traded big shots down the stretch in what seemed to be a game of one-upsmanship.

Elsewhere, Nevada cemented themselves as a top 10 team with a win over Arizona State in Los Angeles on Friday while Indiana held serve at home against a tough Louisville team. Marquette upset Wisconsin at home and Tulsa also pulled out a one-point victory over Kansas State.

What do the results of all of these games mean and what did we learn? Here are the eight biggest takeaways from the past week in this latest edition of the Rauf Report.
