Atlantic 10 Basketball: Observations from first month of 2018-19

The first month of non-conference play has taught us a lot about the Atlantic 10 Basketball conference.

There have been some great wins, and there have been some atrocious losses. Certain players who were expected to be dominant have been disappointing, while others who were under the radar are blossoming into stars. Some of the teams in the A-10 that were supposed to be contenders have taken themselves out of the mix, while some have stepped up and blown away expectations.

It’s still very early in the season, so we have to take what we’ve seen thus far with a grain of salt, but there’s no doubt that we can learn from the trends and statistics we’ve been presented with. This article presents a brief overview of six things that have been made apparent to anyone following along with the league through the first month of play.
