Ahsan Assadullah is a force for Lipscomb

Freshman center Ahsan Asadullah is the brother of former Georgia Tech star Marcus Georges-Hunt and the 6-9 277lb. big man is quickly making a name for himself at Lipscomb. He began his career with 26 points in the Bisons season-opening win over Sewanee. After that, over the next four games, he played a total of 40 minutes and scored six points, including a season-low seven minutes in the team’s upset win over TCU.

Since that game, the first-year player has been an absolute force for Lipscomb scoring 56 points and 22 rebounds. Giving the Bisons a three-headed monster of Asadullah and seniors Garrison Matthews and Rob Marberry. The Atlanta native is shooting an efficient 66% from the field and his 81% from the free throw line is second-best on the team as is his 5.2 rebounds per game.

The Cardinals’ junior big man, Steven Enoch will be a good test for the young Asadullah, if he can continue to be a threat on the offensive end while making Enoch work on the other end of the floor, Lipscomb could be even more of a thorn for Louisville.
