Arizona State has still been the best team in for Pac-12 Basketball despite the loss to Nevada, but how does the rest of the conference shake out?

In a conference full of questions, there is one thing we know for sure – Arizona State is a good basketball team.

But outside of that? Who knows what is going on in the Pac-12.

Washington was one of the more disappointing teams in the country but then nearly upset Gonzaga on the road. A middling Stanford team was a Lagerald Vick three away from upsetting Kansas at Allen Fieldhouse.

So both of those teams are now good again after losses? Who knows.

Consistency is the biggest thing lacking among Pac-12 teams, and that is lacking much more than talent. The talent is certainly there for every team that was projected to be in the top half of the conference but none of them are living up to expectations.

USC lost by 35(!!!) points to TCU last weekend. Oregon has already lost to Texas Southern. UCLA has been blown out by the only two ranked teams they’ve played. And Arizona just lost to an underachieving Alabama team.

These are arguably the most talented teams in the Conference of Champions but all have yet to prove themselves. How do they stack up against each other and the rest of the conference? Find out in this week’s Power Rankings.
