Gonzaga faces their final nonconference test on Saturday when they travel to take on North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Here are the game’s biggest storylines.

Who’s ready for a game between two of the country’s best teams in what promises to be a lively atmosphere in an on-campus arena? So much better than empty neutral sites, right?

Gonzaga and North Carolina will give us that on Saturday with the Bulldogs traveling to Chapel Hill, but both teams are somewhat limping into this matchup.

The Bulldogs are coming off of their first loss of the season and, as a result, were stripped of the No. 1 ranking. Still, they have the current National Player of the Year favorite in Rui Hachimura, another projected first-round pick in Brandon Clarke, and one of the best guards in the country in Zach Norvell Jr.

UNC has plenty of talent as well but has yet to come close to playing up to their potential, losing two of their last four games. Nassir Little, the nation’s No. 2-ranked freshman coming into the season, is still finding his way as he has yet to start a game and a number of veterans have seen their production drop off from last season.

With only a limited number of non-conference games remaining, both teams are looking to make a statement. Who will be able to do so with a victory? Here are the biggest storylines coming into the game.
