Due to final exams for many schools, there were not that many high-profile matchups this week. A few teams still snagged major bracketology wins, though.

Due to many student-athletes taking exams during this past week, there were not a ton of elite matchups and most teams only competed in one game. Even though this was the case, there were still several teams who snagged huge wins for their potential NCAA Tournament resumes. And with non-conference play coming to a close soon, bracketology is starting to take over more headlines around the nation. Teams are starting to solidify their placements in the nation and it is now easier to tell which results are quality wins or losses of brutality.

As is the case every week, this article will break down five of the teams that improved their Big Dance resumes the most. For the most part, this list excludes teams that already have strong resumes (for example, nationally-ranked opponents) and focuses more on those who are looking to build up mainstream attention with huge wins or consistent performances.

Perhaps more than any other major conferences, teams in the Pac-12 and AAC need to compile big wins at this point in time. This is due to the concept that both conferences have struggled compared to expectations so far this year. Did some of these teams make the list and how did they manage to improve their resume? Let’s find out.
