Michigan Basketball is coming off a less than stellar performance against Western Michigan last weekend. Can they find their groove again Saturday against Air Force?

Matchup: South Carolina Gamecocks (4-6) at Michigan Wolverines (11-0)

Date and time: Saturday, Dec. 22 at 4:00 p.m. ET

TV schedule: BTN

Location: Crisler Center, Ann Arbor, MI

Michigan enters their game Saturday against Air Force with an 11-0 record and ranked fourth in the AP poll. They have exceeded almost everyone’s early expectations of them and have looked like one of the best teams in the country. Joe Lunardi of ESPN currently has them as one of the four number one seeds in his latest Bracketology.

Besides their two-point win at Northwestern and the first half against Western Michigan, the Wolverines have not really been challenged all year. They have been dominant defensively and have found themselves on the offensive side of the ball also.

They will look to continue that against an overmatched Air Force team. Michigan should be able to roll by the Falcons, but they probably should have rolled by the Broncos of Western Michigan also. They have had a week off to think about what they could have done better and how to come out sharper this time around.

If the Wolverines win on Saturday they will sit just four wins away from tying the best start in school history. With winnable games to start the Big Ten season, they could easily break that record as the new year rolls around.

Here we take a look at three keys for the Wolverines to not only win the game but feel good about their team as they head into Christmas.
