Top half of the bracket

Indiana State Sycamores
The Sycamores have been inconsistent to this point, suffering losses to Ball State and North Texas while also holding a win over Western Kentucky. They rank second in the country in three-point shooting and have a pair of star guards in Jordan Barnes (21.0 ppg, 4.4 apg) and Tyreke Key (17.9 ppg, 4.9 rpg).

Colorado Buffaloes
Colorado currently has the best record in the Pac-12 and a first-team all-conference caliber guard in McKinley Wright (14.8 ppg, 6.0 apg, 5.7 rpg). The Buffs haven’t really been tested but are on a six-game win streak.

UNLV Rebels
The Rebels have limped their way to a 5-4 record going into the Diamond Head Classic but are coming off an overtime win over BYU. So far, they’ve struggled shooting (229th nationally in effective field goal percentage) and taking care of the ball (339th in turnover percentage) but have proven to be a solid defensive team.

Hawaii Rainbow Warriors
The host of the Diamond Head Classic, Hawaii is 6-4 with an 11-point win over Utah on their resume. Consistency has been a problem with this team as they struggle with the three-point shot.
